Chelsea Depot is the perfect location to host your reunions, showers, birthday parties, anniversaries, business meetings, weddings, wedding receptions, craft shows, memorials and showers. We offer affordable weekend and weekday daily rates and special rates for non-profit group events. 

          There is a required, refundable $150 security deposit that must be paid when making your reservation, and the depot building must be left the same way it was prior to your event. This means that all garbage must be removed and that you should return the key to get your security deposit paid back to you. 

          Rental fees are $200 Monday-Thursday and $400 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, plus an additional cleaning fee of $100. Non-profits are half price. Your required security deposit is $150 to hold the date, and will be refunded at the end of the month in which your rental takes place, provided no damage is done and everything on the cleanup list is followed. Cancellations for reservations must be made at least one month in advance to receive any refund, and ALL cancellations are subject to a $50 administrative fee. All trash must be removed from the building and taken away at the end of your event to  receive your security deposit refund. 

          There is No Smoking allowed in the Chelsea Depot building or within 50 feet of the building. 

          Amenities include an on-site kitchen with a full size fridge/ freezer,  microwave, coffeemaker, a holding/warming oven, a sink and trash bags. Paper towels, toilet tissue and hand and dish soap are also provided. Visitors are welcome to bring their own crock pots etc. for occasions involving meals, or you may wish to hire your own caterer for your event.

          The depot is heated and air conditioned and includes a portable as well as a large pull-down movie screen, but guests must bring their own projector for any slideshow.

          In addition, we now offer a big screen TV on a rolling cart for use with your own digital plug-ins for slideshows or presentations for an extra $75.  (A $200 deposit is required with $125 refunded if no damage.)

          The building's large East end event room is carpeted,  and the smaller West end room has the original hardwood flooring, recently refinished. The larger event room is perfect as a gathering space for your event while the smaller room may be used to serve food or for dancing. The entire building has a spacious 15 ft. ceiling and many windows. The wrap-around ticket counter and windows enclose the kitchen. 

          Trains still go by our location for that true train station experience, so we kindly ask that all guests stay away from the train tracks for their safety. Gathering areas are also located outside with benches. Tables and chairs are included in your rental fees, as are handicap-accessible on-site parking, clean restrooms and flexible layout options for everything you need to make your party, wedding, shower or event one to remember for years to come!
